Cusack Meats has been in our family since its conception in 1933. Our Uncle Bill started this company as a local wholesale meat packing plant. He provided top quality meats to restaurants in the Oklahoma City area.
When our father returned from World War II, in September 1945, he came to his brother to see if he would hire him. We guess Uncle Bill was pretty excited about this offer - he smiled, threw Dad his apron, and said "I'm going on vacation, keep everything under control!"
Dad took over the business in April of 1946. As luck would have it, in the spring of 1947, he fell in love with a good friend's sister, Ella Mae Minor. They married and began their family and had eleven children, and 21 grandchildren.
We are still providing top quality meats to Oklahoma City and elsewhere and are proud to be one of the select companies qualified to provide Angus Beef at its Best®, Certified Angus Beef®.
